This program can be adapted for many different grade levels, but we go through New Mexico history from first contact between the Spanish and Native American communities to the present and look at history through the stories of five influential people whose lives shaped  the course of New Mexico history.

Pueblo Revolt, Spanish Settlement, Santa  Fe Trail, Women’s Suffrage, Manhattan Project. Can be adapted to other eras in New Mexico.
